Our wireless access point connects to a phone line and electrical outlet. It is a device that 'listens' for signals from medical devices in the home and transmits their measurements to CareNet. The Gateway has the unique ability to 'pair' with in-range devices at start-up. There is no need to keep devices in dedicated 'sets', making inventory, transport, and deployment virtually effortless. As with all Healthcom devices, it communicates over our 800 toll-free network.

The wireless blood pressure device is an upper arm automatic blood pressure monitor and uses the oscillometric method of blood pressure measurement. At the end of the measurement, the blood pressure and heart rate readings will be sent automatically to the gateway unit.

At the end of the measurement, the weight reading will be sent automatically to the wireless gateway unit. The client does not need to do anything.

The wireless pulse oximeter device eliminates the cable between the patient and the monitor. Untether your patients while collecting vital SpO2 and Pulse rate data. At the end of the measurement, the SpO2 and Pulse rate readings will be sent automatically to the gateway unit.

The wireless blood glucose device (One touch Ultra) uses the latest blood glucose monitoring technology. It measures the Glucose content of a blood sample by means of an electrical current produced in the test strip and sent to the meter for measurement. Test results are "Plasma-calibrated." This makes it easier for you and your diabetes-care team to compare results with laboratory tests. The One Touch Ultra monitoring system consists of a blood glucose meter, control solution, sampler, lancets, and Bluetooth transmitting device (not shown). Test strips sold separately.
